Even the best-behaved pets will sometimes have accidents. Often, you will not be aware of the problem - until it is severe BUT VenturiClean can restore the damage in most cases - treating the carpet surface, backing, pad, tack strip and subfloor as needed.

Variables in treating pet urine damage involve the pet’s age, diet, medication, gender, health, etc.

If Pet Urine is left untreated:

Pet urine spots in carpet can damage the dyes - causing loss of color. The moisture can break down the glue holding the carpet laminations together causing “delamination” - causing them to separate. Both conditions lead to carpet wrinkles.

Once pet urine in the carpet is discovered, fast treatment can prevent further damage. The solution may be as simple as cleaning and rinsing. In more severe cases, the urine may have seeped through the yarn into the carpet backings and pad - even penetrating the sub-floor. This urine is a food source for bacteria - which will begin to multiply and generate ammonia odors. In this case, the solution is more complex.
